2016 Re-Assessment

Attention:
St Bernard Parish Property Owners

St. Bernard Parish property owners are advised that 2016 is a re-assessment year. The Louisiana Constitution mandates that every assessor perform a parish wide re-assessment of all properties at least once every four years. The new values will be reflected on the 2016 Tax Roll.

If your neighborhood has been re-assessed, you should receive a letter stating your new values.

The 2016 property tax bill will be sent to you by the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office in November, 2016 and will be due by December 31, 2016. Please note that the 2016 millage rates have not been finalized by the taxing districts, but will be approved in the Fall.

If you have any questions, or if we may be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our office or access our website: www.stbassessor.com

We continue to maintain an open-door policy to listen to and to alleviate your concerns.

Sincerely yours,

Jaylynn Bergeron Turner
